Bakdes 2019

 Bakdes is one of my school activities as a 11 grader student. This activities kinda by serving the village. We went to the Kertasari village on 3-5 January 2019, Cibeureum sub-district, Bandung regency. We went there by a public transportation.It took us 2 hours to go there. When we’re arrived we shown a very beautiful mountain landscape, with cool air, it's rather cold.  Then we held the opening ceremony. After that we went to the house of each foster family. The name of my foster mother is Mrs Iip, She is very kind. While there we often walked to see the beautiful scenery of mountains, rivers and see the stargaizing at night. Every day we come to work with our parents. My foster father is a principal so we got an opportunity to teached the students of elementary school. They were really excited and they told they’re own story to us. Also I got a merchandise from one of the 2^nd grader girl. Then We recite at night, and learn to read the Qur'an. We also often play together with children in the village of Kertasari, such as playing football, and others. Besides that we learn about how to gardening, tools, ingredients, methods, and results from master of gardening. We went to the river too. The track is kinda dangerous but it’s such a beautiful view and I really enjoy it. The river’s water is really relaxing and cold. On the last day we were sad because we had to dispart with our foster family.I’m so thankful for this experience because since then I know how people live in the village which is so far from modern life in the city and I’m so grateful for what I have.

ME ( My Dreams, My Goals)

Hello everyone!

My name is avieda rachma. People usually call me  vida. I was born in Bandung on 3rd june 2002. So, now I am 16th years old. I live in Reog street Turangga, Bandung. I study at 3 national high school. My father's name is Rusmin Amin and my mother's name is Sri Lestari. I have one younger brother. My brother's name is Aksa. Now, he’s still 5th grader. My father is working in Bandung and my mother is a housewife. I love them so much and i will appreciate every time I spend with them.

My hobby

At leisure time, I loved to watch Movies with my family at the cinema and watch youtube. One of my favourite tv series is Riverdale. I love that tv series because the plot is interesting and mysterious and it consist lots of handsome actor hehe. My favourite youtube channel is Danielle marie. Why i like her? Because she always makes a video about girls stuff and a positivity. She always shows us how to be a positive minded person and to do the best for our life. I can spend my day watching youtube and movies for almost 12 hours. Beside two of them, I like to practice violin and lately i’ve been focused on it because i do really want to be a great violin players and try lots of violin techniques. Beside that at school actually i joined musik klasik. Musik Klasik is a music club at school, beside that i also join the committee. It's a committee that will held a  performing arts called Festival Budaya. 

My Personality

If you’ve been asking what is my personality? I'm good at understanding others feeling. I think I’m the only one who always realize that the other is having a bad mood. I dont know why I can do it but I can see it from the way they talk , smile, and their expression. If I see them having a bad mood i would immediately ask them why and if they tell their story i will try to understand it and give them the solution and try to cheer them up. If the other is a girl i will hug them too. My others strength is But i also an overthinking person. I think a lot even a small thing. If i got something in my mind i will think about it  over and over. Also I'm a moody person. You shouldn't be surprised if one day i become sad suddenly. I know it's not a good character but I try my best to not be moody but it's hard.

My Achievement

So let's talk about my achievement. Hmm I don't have a special achievement like the others. I never join the school competition in High School because I think there are a lots of them that is smarter than me. But for me entering 3 Senior high school is such and amazing achievement because i dreamed about it since i was in elementary school. Beside that, i also got the biggest score of the national exam in my junior high school. I didn't expect it actually but i'm so grateful of it. I can make my mom and dad proud and because of it i got a gift which is a cash and a hanamasa voucher. I hope i will get an achievement again so soon.

My Dream and Goals

Right now one of my dream is to finish Senior High School with the score as best as i could. After i graduate High School soon i want to enter one of best university in Bandung which is ITB. The faculty that i want to enter is Pharmacy. If you ask why? I would say that i like Chemisty, i like count and numbers not memorizing something. I really want to get a scholarship to London for my master's degree. Why i want to study in London or UK? Because since i was a kid i hear a lot of story about someone who study in London. London is one of a megacities that we've seen a lot on TV and internet. I want to work at Unilever UK one day. Eventhough it's really far from Bandung but i still want to do it. So as you can see those are my dreams that i wish it will come true. BuT How to achieve it? So now i will try to get a good score and understand every topic each subject at school. I will try my best even if it's a hard topic. Then i will balance my life as a student that shows that i should study and as someone who can socialize well. I should balance my study and hang out with my friends. Beside my academic and career i want to be a positive minded person because i still have a negative thoughts about a several thing. Also i want to live in the present or in the moment so i will.enjoy everything that happens in my life.

Is Saving Money Good For Us?

money is one of the most important thing in our life. As a student we have pur duty to study not to get a job. It’s good for you to have your own career or business start at young age as we are. Most of us get our pocket money from our own parents it’s either enough or not to fulfill our own needs. We can spend our pocketmoney as much as we want or as smart as we can.

Saving is important for students because it helps them to enter college without a huge financial burden. College is that time where a student shows his/her financial maturity to pay they tuition fees even there are lots type of loans are affordable (if they are on financial aid), as well as how to manage wisely their financial aid while still enrolled in college. And if you’re a college students, saved money also a lifesaving because you use it to graduate.

Someday we need money all of the sudden and saved money is the solution. it’s either for our education, own needs, or even buy the thing that we want. Sometimes most people use save money for going vacation. Maybe there a lot of you that your parents’ afford it but some of the is not. So saving money also reducing our parents’ burden. 

Much as we hope that emergencies won’t happen, we all know that they do. A family member’s develop a health issue, you might need to make an emergency trip,  have a car accident or breakdown, severe weather could flood your basement or crack your pipes, or you may have to fly to a loved one’s funeral. If Any of these emergencies be expensive,and we all know that we will likely encounter some sort of emergency from time to time. So why not be prepared rather than potentially become another victim of an emergency.

Debates ( pro,contra, and my opinion)

Hello everyone!

So, 2 weeks ago we have been doing a debatein out class and have been told to make a resume. So, here is my analysis, thoughts, and resume of all of those debates that has been presented!

1st Group Topic: Should the Government Nationalize Freeport?

Pro:

The supporting side said that the government will have a huge control over the people working there and states that in fact Freeport is kind of failing right now so it's time to take it over.

Contra:

The opposing side said that Indonesia is not ready yet, doesn't have enough resources to nationalize Freeport fully and work it without help from other countr(ies).

My opinion:

I think Indonesia can take over Freeport but not now for now maybe in 5-10 years in the future Indonesia will be ready for it but for now we still have to work with another county.

2nd Group Topic: The Price of Eggs is Raising Because of Idul Fitri

Pro:

The supporting side said that it is normal because there is the economic law of offers and demands. And, they need profit too. As demand is always increasing at that time of the year, it's normal to have egg prices increasing.

Contra:

The opposing side said that it is not friendly for people who are in not good economic condition. Idul Fitri is supposed to be the time where they enjoy a little bit of luxury, but with the egg prices increasing it might not be so easy to get. Restaurants can't make enough money too if they don't charge higher prices.

My opinion:

I think we have to deal with it because it’s a normal thing to happen and it will happen every year so maybe we can save our money to prepare or buy before it so the price is lower.

3rd Group Topic: Economic Growth After 1998

Pro:

The supporting side said that after 1999, we started to see the increasing of GDP, HDI, Poverty, and an improvement in democracy as people started to choose the Government again instead of being chosen by MPR.

Contra:

The opposing side said that before 1999 the society was better, so it's kind of downgrading now. Dollar value still increases, and a lot of corruption still happens. Prices were lower too at that time of year.

My opinion:

I think that the prices were low around that time of year because Indonesia was so ahead of other ASEAN countries at that time. I think we are doing good now in terms of prices, because we have a lot of competition and is still able to maintain a healthy price.

4th Group Topic: Zoning Policy that Collides with Our Country's Fundamentals

Pro:

The supporting side said that a lot of students are too far away from their school and the zoning policy will provide better infrastructures for every school and delete the criticism that the division between high-quality schools and low-quality schools are really visible currently. This is recognized by the results of the National Exam, where grades in Java are way more superior than other islands.

Contra:

The opposing side said that even though students will be closer to school, they will still use their own transportation which still increases traffic jam and pollution. It also destroys the potential of smart kids who doesn't live close enough so they are not able to join the "favorite" schools. This also degrades the quality of the more reputable schools.

My opinion:

I do disagree with the zoning policy because the policy cause a disadvantage to the people who got a good grades/smart enough but their house is far from school. But at the same time, I disagree with people complaining that they can't get into the "favorite" school because of the policy Because I think it's their fault because they are simply not good enough or haven't done enough to get to the favorite school.

5th Group Topic: Illegal mining in aceh

Pro:

The supporting side said that illegal mining in aceh happen because it is the only one of their job and no more job vacancy. If the government want to blocked the mining they should give/ provide the job vacancy.

Contra:

The opposing side said that the illegal mining is very dangerous for the people who did it because they didn’t have any safe equipment so they have to risk their own life. Beside it the mining is very dangerous for the environment.

My opinion :

I think the government can close block the mining but they should provide job because if the mining is closed, the society will lack of money so they can’t fulfill their own needs.
